“ I will start by saying the portions here are massive! I ordered the blackened fish sandwich and the piece of fish must have been a full pound or more I swear! The only thing I wish was more clear, is that even the blackened fish option is still deep fried. I was trying to avoid more fried food on that day so that was a surprise. It tasted quite oily but otherwise the fish was so fresh and tender it fell apart (this made it super messy and hard to eat. Its a good thing i was with my husband so there was no judgment passed lol). The spiced breading was seasoned really well too. The brioche buns were super soft and tasty and my husband enjoyed his burger! We had the oysters as well and they were quite small. Atmosphere could use some work but overall a good place for lunch! ”

“ „Thirsty Whale Tavern“ is great. Went there to get cold beer and good food. We didn’t get disappointed. The location is nice and the people were friendly. We ordered Burgers with sweet potatoes fries and coleslaw. Fortunately something went wrong and I got fries instead of coleslaw. So I had some bonus fries with the coleslaw Burger, fries and coleslaw were delicious I highly recommend this place if you want a good burger. Would definitely come again. P.s.: they also sell shirts, mugs etc ”

“ The food was great for seafood lovers. Very fresh and well cooked. The restaurant had very nice and friendly staffs. The atmosphere was great, seating at the bar has its own features and it’s very comfortable. The only things that happened to us was when we requested for the bill, the bill had extra items and almost twice the price. I asked a very kind bartender to address this and he corrected it quickly. I am sure it was accidental and not on purpose. In general deep fried clam was a bit greasy for me but good quality and fresh. ”

“ We had a great experience! Our server, Lisa, was absolutely wonderful friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The clam chowder was delicious with a rich, comforting flavor. If we had one small suggestion, it would be to add a few more clams, as it was a bit heavy on the potatoes. Still, the taste was spot on. The chicken sandwich was also excellent perfectly cooked and really satisfying. Overall, a great meal with excellent service. We'll definitely be back! ”

“ Great good! We were seated quick and had great service. Plenty of seafood, but of course we got the lobster roll and clam chowder combo. Both were delicious! The lobster roll was toasted well and the meat was so fresh. We also ordered blueberry wine which was super light and refreshing! Highly recommend ”

“ Interesting small tavern with lighter food - apps and sandwiches but good atmosphere. Local beers and signature cocktails. Staff attentive and fun. Just off Main Street parking of course difficult so walk. Food came out hot and was very good. ”

“ Absolutely craaaazyyy food and drinks. The blackened beef burger and beef short rib sandwich is a must try. The beef literally melts in your mouth, cooked to perfection. We also tried the lobster bisque, chicken wings, oyster, and a couple of cocktails. Everything had a freshness to it, and our waitress was super sweet. Would definitely recommend it to anyone any day. ”
